How to practice, in detail
3 games — pick a game first from the chord or scale practice list (you can also switch on the stage screen). Stars = number of games passed.
- Fret chords on screen: Fret the progression A – D – E – A in order. Strings you don't play (×) are blocked automatically. Your time is your record (hints add +3 s). ★
- Fret chords on guitar: Turn on the camera and mic, then play A – D – E – A in order on your real guitar, strumming once each — the chord is checked by sound and you move on. There's no tempo; your time is your record. ★
- Chord rhythm game: When chord blocks scroll in at 60 BPM, play that chord on your real guitar on every beat (quarter-note down strums are free between beats — only sounds on the beat are scored). On-beat hits score PERFECT·GOOD; 70%+ PERFECT+GOOD passes ★
